4-Step Economy Program

Step 1: March - April

Application of pre-emergent herbicide for grabgrass and broadleaf weed control. It is applied at 1.5 pounds of actual nitrogen per 1000 square feet plus pre-emergent herbicide and broadleaf herbicide.

Step 2: May - June

2^nd Application of pre-emergent herbicide for grabgrass and broadleaf weed control. It is applied at 1.0 pound of actual nitrogen per 1000 square feet plus pre-emergent herbicide and broadleaf herbicide.

Step 3: August - September

Application of a well balanced fertilizer. It is applied at 3/4 pound of actual nitrogen per 1000 square feet.

Step 4: October -November

Application of a quick release nitrogen fertilizer to promote a strong root system throughout the winter and early spring green up.
